Disconnect the charging cable and all accessories immediately. If the device still responds, turn it off and do not keep trying to restart it.
Wipe exterior moisture away with a soft, dry cloth. Point the charging port down and gently help liquid near the openings drain out.
Leave the phone in a dry, ventilated place to air-dry. To increase airflow, you may use a hair dryer on its cool setting from at least 20 cm away, blowing gently towards the openings without holding it on one spot.
You may leave it with silica-gel desiccant for 24 to 48 hours. If it was heavily exposed, contacted seawater or a drink, cannot be switched off or becomes unusually hot, contact customer service promptly for inspection.
Do not do this
Do not use hot air. Heat can damage the display, battery, logic-board chips and flex circuits, and may soften or weaken adhesives.
Do not charge the phone while its connectors may still be wet, and do not repeatedly press buttons or power it on to test it.
Do not shake, squeeze or disassemble the device, or insert cotton swabs, paper tissue or other objects into its connectors.
