1. Scope and order confirmation
These rules apply to in-store and mail-in Apple device repairs, assistance with pre-owned device purchase requirements, and device selling services provided by 成都优智芯科技有限公司 under the DirectorFENG® brand. This website introduces our services and contact channels; it does not directly create orders, issue quotes or take payments.
The device, work, plan, price, estimated timing, shipping and after-sales rights depend on clear confirmations that both parties can retain for the individual order. Mandatory legal provisions take precedence over website summaries and store agreements. Terms materially affecting consumers must be prominently brought to their attention before the transaction and explained as required.
2. Repair services
- Handover and inspection: When handing over a device, describe its fault, liquid exposure or drops, unusual heat, previous repairs and the importance of its data. We check its appearance, testable functions and fault-related condition within the limits of the device. Items that cannot be tested because it will not power on or unlock, or because of other limitations, should be marked untested.
- Plan and quote: Before paid repair work begins, the repair scope, main operations, types of parts, costs, main risks, estimated timing and uncertainties should be explained. If additional issues, higher costs or changed risks arise, affected operations should pause for renewed confirmation.
- Work and delivery: Repairs are carried out only within the confirmed scope. At delivery, check the work performed, charges, post-repair results, known limitations and applicable warranty. The shipping address, method, declared-value cover and charges are confirmed for the individual order.
- Payment: Repair fees may be paid before or after the repair is completed. We currently accept Alipay, WeChat Pay, cash and bank transfers. Check the amount and recipient before paying, and retain the order or valid proof of payment.
3. Contractual repair warranties
For repairs with a contractual warranty, coverage starts at the order completion time recorded in our system. A 5-day mailing grace period follows the expiry of a one-year warranty. Any additional grace period for one-week or one-month coverage depends on confirmation for that order. Warranty eligibility requires checking the original order and physically inspecting the device.
The contractual warranties below exist alongside service-quality responsibilities imposed by law. They must not shorten or exclude consumers’ statutory rights.

| Repair | Term | Coverage |
|---|---|---|
| Battery cell replacement | One year | Inspection confirms actual usable efficiency below 80% or swelling. If eligible, the battery cell is replaced free of charge as a warranty repair. |
| Storage upgrade | One year | Inspection confirms a fault caused by the storage hardware involved in the upgrade. |
| Outer glass or display assembly repair | One week | Touch functionality. Damage from external forces, such as drops or scratches, is outside this contractual coverage. |
| Motherboard repair | One month | The same fault. No store contractual warranty is provided for a motherboard already identified as having undergone a previous repair. |
| Face ID repair | One month | Face ID functionality. No store contractual warranty is provided if inspection confirms a burned-out dot projector chip. |
| Cosmetic or airtightness repair | No store contractual warranty | This does not affect liability for services that fail to meet the agreement or legal requirements. |
4. Buying a pre-owned device
- How the service works: The service currently focuses on submitting your preferred model, configuration, budget and priorities so our team can help match candidate devices. It is not a public in-stock marketplace. The actual device and transaction details depend on the candidate device order.
- Inspection disclosure: Before purchase, the device identity, appearance, testable functions, battery and identifiable parts, abnormalities, known repair history and untested items should be disclosed. Inspection reflects only the checks actually performed at that time; it is not an unlimited or permanent guarantee.
- Price and delivery: Confirm the device, price, included items, payment, shipping and handover condition before ordering. After receipt, promptly check the package, device identity, appearance and functions that can be checked at that time, and retain necessary evidence.
- Quality issues: If a device fails to meet quality requirements, differs from the order or inspection disclosure, or has an important defect that should have been disclosed, repair, replacement, return, refund or other remedies will be handled under applicable law and the parties’ lawful agreement.
5. Pre-owned returns and contractual warranties
Consumers buying pre-owned devices online for personal use may request a seven-day no-reason return within the statutory period where that right applies by law. If a product is genuinely unsuitable for return because of its nature, this must be prominently disclosed for that specific product during the required purchase process and confirmed by the consumer. “Pre-owned goods” or “no returns for personal preference” must not be used as blanket exclusions. Remedies for product quality issues are not limited by no-reason return rules.
The following are the additional warranty arrangements currently confirmed by our store. The device-specific warranty label is important evidence for identifying store contractual coverage. Order, payment and delivery records can also verify the service relationship. The condition of a label does not automatically exclude statutory rights that cannot lawfully be limited.

| Situation | Term | Remedy |
|---|---|---|
| Performance fault not caused by the user | Within 7 days of receipt, confirmed by inspection | Free replacement with the same model; if unavailable, a model of equivalent value. |
| Quality issue not caused by the user | Within 1 year of receipt, confirmed by inspection | Free repair. Parts and labour covered by the contractual warranty are free of charge. |
| Apple warranty | Subject to official coverage status and rules | After Apple coverage ends, the applicable store rules continue to apply if our one-year warranty is still valid. |
6. Selling your device
- Lawful ownership: The seller must own the device or have the legal right to dispose of it, and accurately disclose its identity, appearance, functions, repairs, liquid exposure, account locks and other information affecting its valuation or sale. If its source or ownership is in doubt, processing may pause for lawful verification.
- Initial estimate: A remote estimate is based on the seller’s information and market conditions at that time. It is only for deciding whether to proceed with shipping the device for inspection, not a final sale price.
- Final quote: A final quote is provided after the device arrives and necessary inspection is completed. If it differs from the initial estimate, the main reasons should be explained. Arrival of the device does not mean a sale is agreed: the seller must explicitly accept in a form that can be retained.
- Declining and returning: The seller may decline the sale before accepting the final quote. Items without a uniform rule, including inspection fees, outward and return shipping charges and storage periods, should be clarified for each order before shipping. Charges not explained and confirmed in advance should not be added later.
- Sale and payment: After the quote is accepted, the seller’s identity, right to dispose of the device, payment details and account-lock status may be checked to the extent necessary. The payment method, estimated arrival time and procedure for payment enquiries should be explained when the final quote is confirmed.
7. Device data and account safety
- Back up first: If the device condition allows, first create a backup that you can verify. Disassembly, repair, system restoration, data migration, erasure, liquid exposure or an existing fault may change or destroy data.
- Passwords and verification codes: Do not give anyone your Apple Account password, payment password or verification codes. If unlocking is needed for inspection, preferably enter the code yourself, use repair mode or provide a temporary screen-lock code dedicated to this service.
- Minimum necessary access: Handing over a device does not authorize unrestricted browsing, copying or use of its contents. We access the relevant interface or data only when genuinely necessary for the confirmed service. Unrelated content is not viewed, copied or shared.
- Selling and erasing: Before selling a device, back up your data, sign out of your accounts, turn off Find My and remove the SIM card yourself. Data erasure is usually irreversible. If we assist, the device, scope and irreversible consequences should be confirmed before the operation.
- Image and video records: Applicable orders may have images or video of unpacking, appearance, key repair stages or packing, but a complete video is not promised for every order. Public case studies or promotional use require separate authorization and removal of identifying information.
8. After-sales requests, shipping and disputes
- Submitting a request: Through WeCom, provide the order number, device condition, symptoms, when the issue appeared and necessary photos or video. Do not send account passwords, verification codes or unrelated personal information.
- Inspection: Remote communication is for registration and arrangements. A final warranty or responsibility decision requires checking the order, device condition and physical inspection results.
- Shipping charges: For repaired devices, we pay shipping charges when inspection confirms the issue was caused by our repair work or the parts themselves. Other cases are handled according to the cause, order agreement and legally required responsibilities.
- Complaints and disputes: Contact us through WeCom, service@directorfeng.com or +86 193 0800 0333. If discussion does not resolve the issue, you may make a lawful complaint, request mediation or refer the dispute to a People’s Court with jurisdiction.
