Why might an XR-spec cell be suggested for an iPhone 11 with over 1,000 cycles?

Some high-cycle iPhone 11 devices may behave differently than expected in capacity learning, remaining-charge estimates or low-battery use after cell replacement. Depending on the original flex circuit’s management state, a repair may involve assessing an XR-spec cell with compatible electrical parameters and structure.
This is repair experience for particular device conditions. More than 1,000 cycles alone does not establish that it will last longer, nor replace checks of the flex circuit, battery management, actual capacity, size and charging/discharging behaviour.
