How does a higher-capacity cell differ from a standard third-party battery?
Answer
Standard third-party battery assembly
A standard third-party battery usually replaces the flex circuit and cell as a complete assembly, so the flex circuit is also a third-party assembled part. Products may vary in voltage management, capacity, assembly and durability. Poor flex-circuit or cell quality, matching or assembly can cause unstable voltage, swelling or shorter service life.
Our higher-capacity cell option
We use an A-grade higher-capacity cell from an established third-party manufacturer, with the original flex circuit or a genuine zero-cycle flex circuit depending on the device. On compatible models, the rated capacity is generally higher than the official standard capacity and is intended mainly to improve actual runtime.
The flex circuit used, system display and available capacity are explained before repair according to the model, iOS version, original flex-circuit condition and parts availability.
